It was a humid 32°C in Umdloti. It was touchdown at Umdloti, and on the front burner we made headway to blog about Wedding Cakes in Umdloti.
Umdloti or Umdloti Beach is a holiday town in Durban, about 10 kilometers north of Umhlanga Rocks and famous for dolphins that swim very close to the beach, and for whale watching. Umdloti is at the mouth of the Mdloti River, about 36 km from the Durban City.
Umdloti is central to Wedding Cakes in the Eastern Cape. To truly understand the sounds and colors of Wedding Cakes in Umdloti, we also explored the sidewalk cafés, museums, city parks, and off the beaten attractions.
We checked into our Umdloti Air B&B, and were off to the Moses Mabhida Stadium, where we hired bicycles and drove all along the beach to uShaka Marine World, past Mini Town. uShaka Marine World activities include Wet and Wild, Sea World, Village Walk.
The Wet and Wild include the Body Tornado, Mamba Tunnel Slide, Squid Mini Supertube, Cuda Supertube, Zoom Zoom Multi Lane Racer, Torpedo Kamikaze Speed Slide, Plunge, The Drop Zone, Free Fall Slide, and many more for kiddies.
Sea World consist of Sea Animal Encounters Island, Dolphin sShows, the World Below, Meet Titus the Tiger Shark, and Plane Crashes At uShaka.
When you in Durban, make sure you visit Florida Road, Morningside, in Berea. Florida Road in Durban is a brick paved road surrounded by Victorian buildings, pubs, and restaurants. Florida Road is the hub in Durban when at night fall.

The week was still a puppy, and we were excited to start blogging about Westwood Mall, China Mall, Musgrave Centre, uShaka Village Walk, and The Pavilion.
